🚀 General

Radius Alerts is a real-time, location-based community safety app. It lets you receive and post alerts — accidents, emergencies, weather events, and more — for any area within your chosen radius. Think of it as a community safety network for your neighbourhood.

Currently, Radius Alerts is available for Android only. An iOS version is in development and will be announced on this website and via our mailing list.

Any subscribed user whose configured radius overlaps with the location of your alert will receive it. Your personal profile information (name, phone number) is never displayed publicly. Alerts are attributed to an anonymous community member.

You can post alerts in 8 categories: Traffic Accident, Fire, Flood, Crime, Medical Emergency, Weather, Power Outage, and General/Other. You can attach photos and voice recordings to add context.

We distribute directly as an APK to avoid Google Play's 30% commission on subscriptions, enabling us to keep prices significantly lower for users. Direct distribution also allows us to ship updates faster. The APK is signed by Prime Services and served from our secure cloud storage.

Yes. The APK is digitally signed by Prime Services and hosted on signed, secure cloud storage. You can verify the application signature under Android Settings → Apps → Radius Alerts → Signature after installation.

Follow these steps:

  1. Download the APK from our Download page.
  2. Open Settings → Security → Install Unknown Apps (name varies by device).
  3. Enable installation from your browser or file manager.
  4. Open your Downloads folder and tap the APK file.
  5. Tap Install, then Open.

Android 8.0 (Oreo) or higher is required. The app is optimised for Android 10 and above for best performance. Around ~50 MB of free storage is required.

The app will notify you in-app when a new version is available. Tap the update notification to download and install the new APK. You can also revisit the Download page anytime to get the latest version manually.

💳 Subscription & Billing

Yes. Every new account gets a free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required to start. When your trial ends, you'll be prompted to subscribe inside the app.

Subscriptions are purchased entirely inside the Radius Alerts app via Razorpay. Open the app → Profile → Subscription → choose a plan → pay securely. The entire process takes less than a minute.

We accept all major Indian payment methods via Razorpay: UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM, etc.), Debit & Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Rupay), Net Banking (50+ banks), and supported digital wallets.

We offer three plans: Monthly at ₹49/month, Quarterly at ₹119/quarter (₹39/mo effective), and Annual at ₹349/year (₹29/mo effective — save 41%). All plans include every feature.

Open the app → Profile → Subscription → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect immediately but you retain access until the end of your current paid period. No refunds are issued for the remaining period.

Refund requests can be made by emailing support@prime-services.in within 7 days of a charge. We review each case individually and process approved refunds within 5–7 business days back to your original payment method.

No. All payment data is handled exclusively by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified — the highest security standard for payment gateways. We only receive a transaction ID and payment status. Your card numbers, CVV, or bank details never touch our servers.

🔒 Privacy & Security

No. Your precise location is used only to filter and deliver alerts relevant to your position. Other users cannot see your location. We do not sell or share your location data with any third parties.

Alerts are stored for 30 days. Profile data is retained for 365 days from last activity. Support tickets are kept for 180 days. Full retention periods are detailed in our Privacy Policy.

You can delete your account directly from the app (Profile → Delete Account), or submit a request via our Delete Account page. All your data is permanently purged within 30 days of the request.

🔧 Troubleshooting

Check the following in order:

  • Ensure Location Permission is set to "Allow All the Time" (Settings → Apps → Radius Alerts → Permissions)
  • Check that Notifications are enabled for the app
  • Confirm your radius is set and not at minimum (1km)
  • Make sure Battery Optimisation is disabled for the app (Settings → Battery → App Battery Usage)
  • Verify you have an active subscription or are within your trial period

Try clearing the app cache (Settings → Apps → Radius Alerts → Storage → Clear Cache) and restarting. If the issue persists, uninstall and re-download the latest APK from our Download page. If it still crashes, please contact support@prime-services.in with your device model and Android version.

Payment failures are usually caused by: insufficient balance, bank blocking the transaction, or a network issue. Try again with a different payment method (e.g., switch from card to UPI). If you were charged but your subscription didn't activate, email support@prime-services.in with your Razorpay Payment ID and we'll resolve it within 24 hours.
